Bringing clarity into a new website for a joyful practice
Office S&M
Overview
Office S&M has been delivering impactful work in public sector for years and has a reputation for expressive and joyful architecture. With a number of new projects and willingness to develop new ways of reaching out to their audiences, we collaborated together on refreshing their website.
Opportunity
Catrina and Hugh were keen to further strengthen the storytelling aspect of the website and ensure they can adapt messaging to different audiences. It was paramount that adding new projects, amending contact details or simply uploading new awards was straight forward and demanded little of studio's time. Additionally, we wanted to consider how micro-interactions can make a big impact and convey practice's joyful design approach.

Outcome
The new website follows the design language established by the previous designers and builds on its success. Smooth custom cursor, fixed CTA button and improved filtering of the projects elevate the usability of the website. Considered visual storytelling describing the ethos ensures that Office S&M's approach is given space and attention. Moreover, bespoke Mailchimp integrations enable the practice to interact with chosen audiences using appropriate messaging and brochures.
